Golfers Dress Code

To gain access to our course we respectfully request that visiting golfers must adhere to The Essex Golf and Country Club dress code

*Golf shirts to have collars and sleeves. No T-shirts and no football/rugby shirts.

*We request that shirts are tucked into trousers/shorts at all times.

*Only golf trousers to be worn. No blue denim trousers or jeans, or jean style trousers.

*Shorts must be tailored. No sports shorts or tracksuits permitted.

*Socks must be worn, inner socks and ankle socks allowed.

*No trainers, only golf shoes to be worn on the golf course.

*Baseball caps or hats must NOT be worn the wrong way round.

If you are not properly dressed you will not be allowed on the course.

Dress Code on the Driving Range and the 9 hole Garden Course are exempt from the above.

Mobile telephones may not be used on the course except for 999 emergency calls only. Please ensure your telephone is switched off at all times.
