11 Teams took part in the latest Dine after Nine on a glorious evening, which threatened rain at times but held off. The course being in great, condition played well with many players commenting on how good it is.

The USA theme, always a hit saw teams playing a Texas Scramble followed by a wonderful American themed buffet with sliders, hot-dogs, southern fried chicken, fries, sweetcorn, coleslaw and salad – a huge thank you to Mark and the whole team, who on a very busy evening made sure everything went very smoothly.

You’ll see below that the Nearest the Pin winners were Mandy Sutton for the ladies and Rodger Underwood for the gents.

The scramble was close with a countback required to determine second place with both teams tied on 33.9 - Laurence Parr & Justin Trueman edged out Verity Rosewarne & Rodger Underwood. Finishing first on a great score of 31.9 was Mick Seeley & Julian Baines.

Mick also won the 50/50 Texas themed quiz – well done sir.
